The Most Creative People in the World
We are all creative in our own way, but only those who keep the kid alive inside could establish themselves in the creative industry.
Most of the creative heads of different agencies have their head filled with a wild imagination, so wild that only a carefree kid can dare to imagine that! So in the initial phase of becoming a creative person, if you’re often criticized for being kiddish… know that you’re to become an industry big shot!! For only kids have superpowers, only a kid can imagine the ferocious monster coming his way, and he being the knight has to be ready with his broom-like sword to fight it. Only he has the liberation to transform his pillow into an F1 racing car, the curtain into the magician’s cape, his underwear into the Superman costume and be the celebrated hero of his own Gotham City.
But what takes him there? Who inspires him?
It is the free will that works for him. He is not bound by the tickling clock, not restricted by the topic or brand neither is he tamed by any freckling client. He, only he can climb up to cloud 9 and be the Gulliver in the world of us, Lilliputs. Why? Because he is Free!
So how can we nourish these super-kids and nurture their talents to reach the supersky? Supersky!? Well… we don’t know it yet! They do.
- Let them realize that they can climb the mountains, walk on the sea and swim with the clouds. They are free.
- Instead of inspiring them to be like someone, let them be them. Original and Innovative.
- They might be kids, but they deserve respect too! Instead of criticizing, encourage them to go wild in their imagination, be creative and have respect for whatever they have done.
- Instead of instructing them, you could join them in painting your wall with crayons. Let them be the creative supervisors in creating some amazing wall art.
- Persuade them to be proactive. Impart interest in them, tell them stories related to the occasions we celebrate, encourage them to make innovative greeting cards for all occasions.
- Instead of buying them the latest video game, let them have a chalkboard wall in their room. Wait and see what they are capable of doing in their own spaces.
Try and follow these with your child and who knows, maybe you have a creative mastermind playing in your backyard.
And if you’re already ‘grown up’, yet want to nourish the child within; take yourself to a date. Stroll around the park, barefoot. Go out and watch a cartoon movie. Walk around the busy street, not with your earphones on of course! and observe the silence. Grab a cup of coffee, get on to the roof and talk to yourself. Maybe within a few weeks’ practice, you’ll be able to hear your inner voice and might be lucky enough to find the lost creative kid, you were!
